Since GEC was established in 2000, one of our central focuses has been to develop excellent software that interfaces with the state safe drinking water information systems. We are continuing this mission as a key partner on the SDWIS Modernization contractor team led by Systalex. Most of GEC's Safe Water Software applications have already been modernized to be ready for the next SDWIS. We accomplished this preparation by creating a ReST Application Programming Interface (API) that connects to our software hosted in the Microsoft Azure Government cloud. As EPA's SDWIS Modernization team with GEC's help creates and makes the new EPA SDWIS API available, GEC will integrate those services with our software (for clients that are ready to transition to the new SDWIS).
